Headspace

Headspace Miranda had their 10th birthday and I was lucky enough to help them celebrate. Headspace is a wonderful organisation that helps to provide youth 12-25 with mental health services to try and provide early intervention. Headspace has over 150 national centres that are essential in our community. After 10 years, birthday celebrations took place at cronulla park and I was fortunate enough to set up gazebos, quiet corners, tables and outdoor games. Once the event started we welcomed the community together to listen to some inspiring speakers, food and activities. I was put at the trivia table asking questions about mental health, giving away prizes and pamphlets. Whilst working with the amazing headspace staff I was able to learn more about mental health and how crucial it is in our society.
